The Intelligent Choice for Roslyn Real Estate
How long does it take to go from Roslyn, NY to Penn station by train?
I'm new to transportation. I was told (to go from roslyn, ny to nj) to take LIRR to Penn Station (how long does that take?) and there buy a ticket to Metuchen and something about "northeast Corridors"/transfer.... I really appreciate your help! By the way, I'm leaving at 6 pm... and hoping to arrive to NJ by 7 pm. Is that ample time?
here are two websites
http://www.mta.info/lirr
http://www.njtransit.com
at roslyn, buy a ticket. the train to penn station (with a transfer at jamaica) takes 50 min. see website for schedules.
at penn station. walk upstairs to the nj transit ticket counter, buy a ticket to metuchen. the train takes 50 min. see website for schedule.
overall, it will take 50 min (lirr), plus walking around in penn station, and waiting for the nj train another 20 min, plus the 50 min for the nj train = 2 hours.
What steak house is best, Bryant & Cooper in Roslyn, NY or Peter Lugers?
I am trying to decide which steakhouse I should go to to celebrate a special occasion. Is there any difference in Peter Lugers in Great Neck or in Brooklyn; does anyone know how Blackstone's Steakhouse is in Melville, New York.
Peter Luger's in Brooklyn is better than Great Neck. I don't know Blackstone or Bryant, but I can't picture any steakhouse being better than Peter Luger's - the steaks are sublime . Go to Brooklyn - make the occasion even more special.
how to get to roslyn hieghts ny using belt parkway?
i dont wanna drive though the city
im in edison new jersey
IM FROM EDISON NEW JERSEY, AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET TO BELT PARKWAY, GPS AND MAPQUEST TELL ME TO TAKE LINCOLN TUNNEL. I DONT WANNA DRIVE THROUGHT THE CITY.
From the Belt take the Cross Island Pkwy north to Long Island Expwy east. Exit LIE at Willis Avenue (Exit 37). Stay in the left lane and turn left (north) under the expwy onto Mineola Avenue. You will then be in Roslyn Heights.
How do you get to Roslyn Heights,NY from Queens,NY
Via train or bus, from Queens, specifically Main St, Flushing
Easiest way to do it is to take # 7 train to 61/st Woodside and then take the LIRR to Roslyn
The Roslyn station is in Roslyn Heights
The N-23 bus stops at the LIRR station if you need to get over to Willis Ave
On just buses alone take the N-21-to Roslyn & then change to the N-23
